PAST PROJECTS

Strather Associates has closed over $2 billion in transactions in the Detroit area since inception, including: 

Sale of Hunter Ridge, located at 14 mile west of Orchard lake Rd. $42.M sale to Hartman and Tyner

Sale of Republic Development portfolio to Related for $165M- strada brokered more than 1600 units to the related companies owned by Steve Ross. Ross adorns his name with the University of Michigan Business School and he's also the owner of Miami Dolphins

Development of Woodbridge Estates $77M - this transaction was completed with the Slavik group Strather has closed more than 250 million with the Slavik group since 1984

Redevelopment of Grand River Greenfield $19M - Strather and investors acquired 5 blocks of buildings demolish 2 blocks and redeveloped 3 blocks. Left remaining is the mammoth building. The mammoth building is currently being redeveloped by third developer throughout the fully supports the development and the completion of Detroit's most important neighborhood Corner

Motor City Casino $1B

Started the Motor City casino petition drive in February of 1994 with just $8000. He collected enough signatures along with homeless to put the project on the ballot and the rest is history 10 years later he sold the development too the Illitch family him and his investors received a total of $166 million.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:

Mr. Strather cares deeply for the City of Detroit.  In his spare time, he has chartered over 140 community Optimist  Clubs, awarded over 2,700 scholarships through the Optimist Youth Foundation and has donated $3M to local charities.

He established Strather Academy to create the next generation of real estate developers.
